From a small dream to a trusted institution
Mukka is a vibrant and rapidly growing suburb of Mangalore city on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Despite having over 1,000 families, the town once had very few graduates or professionals. Recognising this urgent need, the management of Mukka Jumma Masjid, under the visionary leadership of the late Haji M.S. Abubakkar, took a bold step. In 1993, Anjuman English Medium School was born — with a mission to make quality English-medium education affordable and accessible to every child in Mukka, irrespective of their community or economic standing.

The Beginning
Started in a modest building provided by the Mukka Jumma Masjid.

Growing Roots
Moved into a larger building donated by a well-wisher to accommodate increasing student numbers.

A Home of Our Own
With the support of philanthropists, a brand-new, purpose-built school building was constructed.
